The proposal comprises of a demolition of the existing building & construction of a detached building containing 21 Bed Care Home Unit with associated parking and ancillary spaces. The application site has undergone numerous applications from other firms; however, it required direction and insight to ensure the best approach is taken for a better viability for our client. An initial consultation with the Local Authority has been received positively and the project is near submission for the full application with relevant supporting documents.

Having mainly residential dwellings and various design characteristics in the area, the proposed design will ensure it sits comfortably and be of a high quality. The rear garden being 45m deep provides the optimal space for the residents to utilize and assist in developing their mental health.

Careful consideration has been taken to ensure the spaces are easy to navigate and DDA compliant, all rooms have en-suites, an open plan approach to the dining and lounge creates a comfortable feel for the residents. The in-house interior design provided to our client has embraced modern technology, such as a dedicated sensory room. The use of appropriate wall coverings and protection and economical custom-made furniture designed for robust use will ensure ease of maintenance of the building.
