Our client approached us with a budget in mind and wanted to work together to provide the best-case scenario with Local Authority in mind consdiering that the property is in a conservation area and making best use of the site.

Like any home project, there is always scope to do more and enhance, after value engineering the design, the proposal is for a single storey rear extension with an excavation of a basement under the rear rear terrace and a proposed light well. The aim is to refurbish the property and provide comfortable living space with focus on the final finishes for the dream home, our one to one meeting with our client has given them comfort to take the project from their ideas into reality.

The site benefits from having a natural dropping terrain, utilizing the slope to create the basement optimized the cost and created a space that is of a high standard and sympathetic to the context. New landscaping design has been proposed in-house as it ties with the refurbishments and ensuring a well-rounded design.

Planning Architecture are also handling the contract administration and site supervision of the project and working closely with the contractor to ensure the delivery of the project is in line with the contract drawings and meeting deadlines.
